Spring has sprung, and we are excited to celebrate the season with our members by embracing new possibilities! As the weather gets warmer and the flowers start to bloom, it’s the perfect time to shake off the winter blues and embrace a healthier lifestyle. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, tone up, or simply improve your overall health and well-being, spring is the perfect time and Spark Fitness is the perfect place to start or continue your journey!

In this month’s newsletter, we welcome two amazing instructors to our team, celebrate the successes of our members, and offer up a fresh bouquet of pop-up specialty classes to inspire and motivate you!


We’ve recently teamed up with InBody to bring body composition analysis to Spark Fitness, helping you to continuously improve and monitor your results!

Body composition analysis refers to measuring your body muscle, fat, and water. Instead of focusing on a single number on your scale, body composition analysis allows you to focus on losing body fat and gaining muscle while retaining the proper amount of water.

Our studio’s InBody 570 accurately measures your body composition in less than 45 seconds and prints out a results sheet which lists your body composition components, tracking your progress over time. The report shows key components of your health including:

  • Skeletal muscle mass
  • Body fat percentage
  • Body fat mass
  • Basal metabolic rate
  • Visceral fat level
  • And much more!

InBody will be available at Spark Fitness soon to help you track your results! Even better: Your first InBody analysis and report will be FREE! Follow up measurements will be $15. Stay tuned for more details!


We are excited to welcome Marlee and Georgia to the Spark Family! They’ve already begun teaching classes, so please stop by and say hello when you see them!


I have always loved exercise, but after high school sports I decided it was time to find a new love, and then I found spin! For the past few years, being in a dark room with loud music became my home away from home, but you can also find me on the floor! I wanted to give others the feeling of accomplishment I have felt every time I left a spin class.

This past summer, I decided to get Stages-certified to be able to share my passion with you! In my rides, you can expect a little bit of everything. I love to hit a heavy climb, but what goes up must come down with sprints and push-ups! My music is upbeat and we love a good beat drop.

When I am not riding, I am a full-time student studying business administration at the University at Buffalo! Come party with me on the bike, I cannot wait to meet you and help you crush your fitness goals! 💙🤍💙🤍


Hi!! I’m super excited for this opportunity to help others challenge themselves in their fitness journey! I fell in love with the human body and its complex physiology in my undergraduate years of college and never looked back!

While getting my bachelor’s in exercise science at UB, I decided I could see myself working with people exercising, reaching their goals, and pushing their limits as a career. So I decided to pursue my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which I am currently in my last year of the graduate program at UB.

I am very excited to get a different perspective here at Spark from the group fitness side of things! Can’t wait to get started at watch everyone crush it!!! ❤️💪🏻


Our high-energy spin classes are a member favorite, so we’ve made some additions to our schedule to better meet demand:

  • Beginner spin classes will be held Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
  • A second spin class has been added on Sundays at 9 a.m.

We hope this makes it easier to add time with our awesome instructors to your busy schedule. See below for more opportunities to get fit with our specialty pop-ups!



As we look forward to summer, save the date for our TGIF Happy Hour Cruise on the Miss Buffalo happening June 30 from 6-7:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public, so friends and family who are 21+ are invited to join us. Tickets are $29 per person and can be purchased online. More details about boarding, parking, and the evening’s onboard entertainment are available at Buffalo Harbor Cruises.
