Spring has sprung, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to renew your commitment to fitness! We had some fantastic successes last month, and we’re looking forward to introducing fresh ways to get fit as the weather warms up, including several pop-up classes and Spark Run Club. Let’s embrace the new season, continue to support each other, and make this spring a time of growth and achievement in all our wellness goals!

ICE CYCLE RECAP

Thank you so much for coming out to participate and support us during our sold-out IceCycle session on March 9. We raised $60,912.53 for cancer research. This is an amazing accomplishment, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

Jenn had the opportunity to discuss the IceCycle experience, as well as all the great things Spark Fitness has to offer during a recent appearance on Daytime Buffalo. She spoke with host Chelsea Lovell about her personal fitness journey and why Spark is different from other studios.

The segment included video from IceCycle, as well as plenty of photos of our members, so take a look and see if you can spot yourself!

RED CARPET RESULTS

We had an amazing time dressed to the nines while celebrating our members’ accomplishments at the Red Carpet Challenge after-party at the Seneca One Lobby Bar on March 16! Challengers were recognized for their award-winning results.

HAPPENING THIS MONTH

west side bulls spin benefit

Join us Sunday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. for a donation-based spin class to benefit the West Side Bulls 11-U football team! The team has been invited to a tournament in Florida and all funds raised will go directly to offsetting the cost for ALL families. Class is free to register, just donate what you can, IF you can. Send all donations via Venmo to mj_karp.

NEW BASELINE TRAINING SCHEDULE

In an effort to make all our baseline movements more accessible, we will be moving them exclusively to our strength days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The new schedule is below:

Every 4 months we will move each movement set forward. Annually, each strength day will have each movement set.

In addition to being more accessible, this will also provide an opportunity for new, creative, and exciting hybrid days!

We can’t wait to see what you all are capable of!

JUST FOR FUN

We’ve recently received some comments on social media from other small businesses that use Spark as their brand name that they’re losing revenue since our merch is so awesome. You know that we love supporting small business, so — no pun intended — we’ve decided to be the bigger person (studio?) and change our name.

🤭 🤭 🤭 Starting on April 1 — the most foolish day of the year — we will be known as Kraps Fitness. 🤭 🤭 🤭 Kraps is Spark spelled backward, so it will be like our little secret! Please support us during this time of change by checking out our rebranded merch and wearing it proudly!

miss buffalo cruise

We’re bringing back the Spark Fitness TGIF Happy Hour Cruise on the Miss Buffalo for a second year in a row! Mark your calendars for July 12 at 6 p.m. The 1.5 hour cruise features live entertainment and takes place rain or shine.

Tickets are $31 each for members and non-members (adults 21+ only) and can be purchased on the Fare Harbor website.
