Welcome 2023. Happy new year!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2023!

This past year has been one for the books, going out with a bang with record-setting snowfall! We just want to say how thankful we are for your continued support and enthusiasm as we strive to bring you the best group training Western New York has to offer!

One of our goals this year is to continue giving back to the community, and we’re excited to share that we are participating in IceCycle 2023!

If you haven’t experienced it, IceCycle is an inspirational weekend where WNY gyms and studios join together to teach cycling classes outdoors on the ice at Buffalo RiverWorks. What’s even better is that we’re coming together to raise funds for cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

We will be teaming up with Sweat 716 for the session on March 11 at 1:45 p.m. with your favorite Spark instructors, including Tony Castanza, Jillian Beccue, Zoe Scott, and Shamyr Toledo.

Registration is open NOW so don’t hesitate get your spot! Bikes fill up fast and we want to make sure you’re there with us this year.

Read more details below about how to participate as part of the Spark Fitness team. We’ll see you on March 11!

Wishing you all the best for a happy, healthy, and safe 2023!

Winter in Buffalo is tough, but you know who is tougher? Cancer patients and those affected by cancer. That’s why we’re stepping up to show our support and change the future of cancer as we know it.

This March, we’ll be turning up the heat and challenging ourselves at Buffalo’s coldest cycling event of the season — IceCycle — to raise critically needed funds for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Our team name is Spark Fitness and is captained by Jenn Ickowski. We’ll be cycling as a group alongside Sweat 716 on March 11 during the 1:45 p.m. session. Riders must raise a minimum of $200 by March 11 to ride in the session.

We will be holding donation rides to assist riders registered with our team with their fundraising efforts. Our first is on January 6 at 5:30 p.m. There are no class registration fees for donation rides, but we ask for a $19 minimum donation. These contributions will be split among our Spark Fitness IceCycle team members to help them reach their fundraising goals. Our instructors also have the option to donate their pay for that class to a rider.

Spots are filling up quickly, so register today! The event is spectator friendly, so be sure to invite your family and friends to cheer you on!

New year, new schedule!

We’ve heard your feedback and have added more classes and slightly shifted class times to better meet demand and give you more flexibility to attend classes that work with your busy schedule! The new schedule is in effect as of December 30.

    • Mornings: Our 6:45 a.m. class has moved to 6:30 a.m. so we can fit in another session at 7:30 a.m.
    • Evenings: We’ve added a 7:30 p.m. class. The 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. classes were shifted to 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., respectively.
    • FRIDAYS ARE BACK by popular demand and it will be a third strength day!

We added in an extra morning class and shifted our class times slightly. All spin will begin 15 minutes after Spark group training classes so that demos remain uninterrupted on the Spark side AND this gives you more chances to double up as there will be minimal break time between spin and the next group training class!

Note that there are no spin classes on Mondays.
